Frequently Asked Questions

What timeframe should I plan for MCAT prep?

The ideal timeframe depends on each student’s learning style. Generally, we recommend either 3 months of focused prep (around 30 hours per week) or 6 months of part-time prep (15-20 hours per week). During your introductory session, we will share a personalized study schedule that you can tailor to fit your unique timeframe and goals.

How does payment work?

When you book a session, you can add a card on file, but you’ll only be charged after the session is completed—unless you choose to pay in advance. If you need to cancel, please give us at least 24 hours notice to be eligible for a refund.

What resources should I have?

For MCAT prep, the AAMC materials and UWorld are considered the gold standard. Other resources can serve as valuable supplements. When you book with MCAT Village, you’ll also receive six topic-specific summary sheets designed to help you synthesize high-yield concepts across the core science disciplines.
